Your "Must-Do" Checklist

Lock & Rollin is designed for a very specific – but standard – joist width.

So before you order, the space you want to convert MUST meet certain requirements. Please take a minute to grab a tape measure and head up to the attic for a quick and easy inspection.

Lock & Rollin checklist:

• Identify the area in the attic where you want to add flooring (make sure it's easily accessible to the stairs)
• Ensure floor joists are spaced 16″ on center (measure from top center to top center of joists)
• See that the area is relatively FLAT with no Air-conditioning equipment, trusses, or large immovable obstructions jutting up between joists
• Note: You may relocate existing wiring if it is in the way by utilizing slots underneath each slat
